Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Ait Ben haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades

Depart early in the morning from your accommodation or meeting point and head east towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

As you traverse the mountains, take breaks to capture scenic photos, stretch your legs, and enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee. Pass through the renowned Tizi Ntichka pass and make a stop at the captivating Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a Berber fortified village with a rich cinematic history.

Marvel at the filming locations of movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Kingdom of Heaven as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage site for approximately 2.5 hours (local guide fees not included). Treat yourself to a delicious lunch before continuing your journey through Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, Klaa Mgouna, and Dades.


Day 2 : Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After a satisfying breakfast, set off towards the captivating Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Admire the charming Berber villages along the way, including Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud.

Take some time to relax in Merzouga before preparing for a unique camel trek across the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Reach a traditional Berber camp and leave your camels behind as you walk to the highest dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset.

Experience an unforgettable night in Berber nomad tents, surrounded by the enchanting ambiance of the Sahara Desert. Listen to the mesmerizing rhythms of drum music under the starry sky.


Day 3 : Camel trek – Sunrise – Errachidia – Midelt – Atlas Mountains – Ifrane – Fez

Wake up early to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the desert before enjoying a delicious breakfast. Mount your camels once again and return to Merzouga. Begin your drive towards Fes, passing through the picturesque Ziz Valley and the city of Errachidia.

Around midday, make a stop in Midelt to purchase lunch and replenish your energy. Continue your journey to Fes, traversing the captivating landscapes of Ifrane and Imouzzar with their renowned Cedar Forests and Berber towns.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Barbary apes that might cross your path, providing a perfect opportunity for memorable pictures. Arrive to Fez late in the afternoon, where Morocco Experience Travel bids you farewell with a drop-off at your accommodation.
